I wanna start by saying thank you to all of you for all of your faves, comments and watches, but also to those who are still watching me after all this time that I have been away from DeviantArt! Your support is more important than ever at the moment, so I really appreciate you guys.
As some of you already know, I had my Birthday a few days ago... it was really heartwarming to see the Happy Birthday messages from you all! I was unfortunately looking after a very sick dog last week and so didn't get to celebrate my Birthday as planned, but I've been promised a a day out soon... so all is good!
To update you all, I'm out of work again, but have an interview soon, so I have no monies atm. If I can bag that job then I'll go ahead with making a cosplay that I am really excited about! I haven't really felt much like drawing or anything lately, so I haven't had anything decent to upload here... but I do spend more time on Tumblr than Deviantart at the moment lol.

I started my new job recently, I didn't realize that it involved so much training, my head is jam packed with information now lol. The people there are really nice though and it's got a good pay rate so I couldn't ask for much more then that at the moment! (I really can't wait for pay day!) I'm hoping to get back into being more active with my comments, drawing and planning cosplays when I get settled into my new role, so that may take a while.
Again, I would like to thank everyone for the +favs, watches, and general love and support, especially as I am so absent a lot of the time, I haven't gone away, I'm just kinda in limbo at the moment with everything that is going on. I'll add links to this again when I have the time, I noticed that I forgot to add them back in lol.

First Off:
It's been a while since I have posted a proper journal on DA *Sob*. Also I wanna apologize for my inactivity the past few months whilst I have been working on animation projects. It's really nice to come back on and have such amazing support from everyone, even though I haven't been around much! Thank you all for your lovely comments faves and general support! ~<3
Cosplay:
As some of you may already know, myself DeathTripp and Kiwibon did go to the MCM Expo last week, we were originally planning to cosplay Gorillaz again, but we had a change of plans less then a month before Expo, and decided to do something completely different! It was a lot of hard work but we managed to get the cosplays ready just in time for Expo, and had a great time there! I was quite worried that I wouldn't look good as Batman with my small frame but I think, somehow, it came out alright? I certainly confused a lot of people into thinking that I was a man over the weekend. XDDD
Saturday Expo:
When we got to the Expo I had to change into my stuff, which was actually quite a funny experience (Especially when people would walk out the toilets in confusion, thinking that they had walked into the men's! I even heard one of the cleaners telling some girls that they were in the right place! XD). We had early entry tickets, so after grabbing some paninis (wow it was so hard to eat or drink anything in that cowl! XD) and meeting up with Danielle, Jasmine, also Rainbow--Ferret and MutatedCamel, in their amazing Grell and Madame Red cosplays, we finally went into the main hall. Thank you again for the lovely pressies Harriet! We then wandered about a bit and looked at stuffs on the stalls, which was a lot of fun
. Especially because we found the Artbox stall that Kiwibon loves and we managed to find some really cute Pokemon plushes! We also stumbled upon the lovely Kittykattykitkat which was a nice surprise, and she took our photo. We then realized that we had a photo shoot with RavenBlakh and dashed outside to find her! I really enjoyed the shoot and can't say thank you enough to Charlotte for taking our photos, she is such a great, creative and inspiring photographer, you should all check out her work if you haven't already! After the shoot we went back inside the Expo hall for a little longer, DeathTripp bought me and Kiwibon a twinky each and me some Mountain Dew, so we were bouncing off the walls afterwards! Oh and before going home, we saw a stall selling movie replicas and bought a BATARANG! twiglettking.tumblr.com/post/6…:. We then went back home with Kiwibon and watched Young Justice at DeathTripp's house!
Sunday Expo:
This day was a bit more chilled for us, except the train line disruptions meant that we ended up spending much more time traveling to and from Expo on Sunday. D: When we eventually made it to the Expo I had to get changed into my cosplay again (OMG, I wouldn't travel on the train in Batman gear, I'd probably get beaten up! XDD). we went into the hall again and bought some more awesome stuff! (Thank you for the cute keyrings Kiwibon! We wandered about a bit, but it was hotter on Sunday inside so we decided to go out for our own photo shoot. I would've like to have helped out and been able to take more photos of the others, but couldn't really hold the camera properly or move to take em in this particular cosplay, having said that, the others took some absolutely amazing pictures which we will be uploading in the next few weeks hopefully. After this I got changed and we traveled home again, and watched some more Young Justice!
This has got to be one of my favorite Expos so far, mainly because it was quite chilled, laid back and we didn't have to rush anywhere this time. I loved meeting everyone again, and it was nice to go inside the main hall a bit more this time! (I loved the Batman Arkham Asylum/Batman Live stall)! I never really buy much from the stalls but I love watching my friends browse and find cute things, it makes me happy to see them so happy! ^__^. I am a really unhappy that more people didn't take photos of Kiwibon and DeathTripp in their epic cosplays... But hopefully we made up for it with out own photo shoots! (Considering how many people took photos of me, I can't seem to find many of them online anyway?). I still can't believe that I cosplayed Batman of all characters! It was kinda weird but nice for people to shout "Batman!" at me after growing up idolizing superheroes like him XDD. The other Batman cosplayers were really nice too, I did find some of the villains to be a little intimidating when they first came up to me, but soon warmed up to them! I am hoping that if we go in October, we won't have to rush our cosplays so much, and do a group together again, although I'm glad that Kiwi was able to cosplay Kiba at Expo finally! I bet she has been wanting to for years! I have probably missed out loads of stuff, but I see so much writing above me, I'd be surprised if anybody reads this far!
